Our client a real estate company in Lagos is looking to hire an experienced Human Resource Executive. Preffered candidate will be someone living withing the Ajah -Sangotedo axis

Job Description: HR/Admin Manager

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:


  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to align with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Manage the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Conduct regular reviews of HR processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee payroll administration, benefits management, and leave tracking.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and attract top-quality candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.

Performance Management and Employee Development:

  • Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement, goal setting, and performance improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization and design programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.

 

Administrative Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative activities, including office maintenance, facilities management, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage travel arrangements, expense reporting, and logistics for business-related activities.
  • Monitor and manage the budget for HR and administrative functions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR/Administrative leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Solid understanding of talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in performance management and employee development.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
