Job Position: Human Resource Manager
Job Location: Warri, Delta

Job Description

  • The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The location for this role is Warri, Delta State.

Responsibilities


  • Ensure the successful execution of HR processes to drive an efficient and optimal employee experience
  • Manage the talent acquisition process which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Prepare employees for tasks by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach employees
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide in-house development opportunities for employees.
  • Improve employee retention and motivate staff through creating employee wellness initiatives.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations.
  • Schedule management conferences with employees to hear and resolve employee grievances.
  • Maintain human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or a related degree.
  • 3 - 5 years of cognate experience as HR Manager or in related job position.
  • In-depth understanding of Employment and Labour Law
  • HR professional certification from a recognized institution.
  • Ability to develop and successfully implement clear and fair company policies.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Team management skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N140,000 monthly
