Honour Flow Group of Company is a diverse conglomerate with a strong presence across multiple sectors. The company owns EJ Eatery, located in Ughelli and Sapele, offering quality dining services. It also manages Elo Trease Warehouse in Ughelli, providing essential storage solutions. In the manufacturing and production space, the group operates Elo Water in Otokutu, Warri, and EJ Bakery in Warri. Additionally, Honour Flow owns Elo Ice Cream, delivering sweet treats, alongside a fuel station and gas station serving the energy needs of the community. The group also holds Revelation Bank in Ughelli, contributing to the financial sector.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Human resource Officer
Job Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Group Human Resource Manager / Management Team
Job Summary
- The Human Resource Officer will support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department across all business units under Honour Flow Group.
- This role involves coordinating recruitment, training, staff welfare, and performance management while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- You will play a critical role in maintaining positive employee relations, promoting company culture, and ensuring HR operations align with the group’s mission of excellence in production, customer service, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts for all departments — bakery, eatery, warehouse, factory, and energy outlets.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and onboarding for bakers, production staff, drivers, engineers, sales personnel, and administrative staff.
- Maintain an updated database of staff records and deployment across business units.
Performance & Compliance:
- Monitor attendance, performance evaluations, and shift discipline across all operational units.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Act, company rules, and health and safety policies within production and fuel facilities.
- Support managers in enforcing workplace ethics and disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs in specialized units (e.g., hygiene for bakery/eatery staff, machine operation for factory staff, safety training for gas and fuel attendants).
- Organize onboarding sessions and refresher programs to strengthen productivity and workplace safety awareness.
Employee Relations & Welfare:
- Foster good working relationships among staff in different departments and manage grievances promptly.
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives, such as staff recognition, medical support, leave management, and accommodation arrangements.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive organizational culture across all branches.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS updates, and personnel files.
- Assist in payroll preparation, ensuring correct attendance, deductions, and benefits are processed.
- Generate monthly HR reports for management review, including turnover rate, staff movement, and disciplinary actions.
Policy & Strategic Support:
- Assist in the implementation and periodic review of HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all company units.
- Provide HR advisory support to line managers and supervisors.
- Contribute to manpower planning and succession strategies across key operational areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years proven HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, FMCG, or multi-branch organization.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian Labor Laws, HR best practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS tools, and data management.
- Ability to multitask and manage HR operations across multiple departments and locations.
- Strong problem-solving, confidentiality, and conflict resolution abilities.
Work Environment:
You will operate in a multi-sector setting, managing HR functions that support:
- Bakery and Eatery operations (production, packaging, service staff)
- Water, Juice, Ice Cream, and Yoghurt Factories (quality, maintenance, and packaging teams)
- Warehouse operations (storekeepers, dispatchers, drivers)
- Gas and Fuel Stations (pump attendants, cashiers, and supervisors).
Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / month.
