Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Who Are You?


  • We are seeking an experienced Financial Associate to join our Financial Reporting team.
  • The individual will report to the Finance Manager (Nigeria) and assist in preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Support in preparing job descriptions
  • Organize the induction of new hires and assist with seamless onboarding procedures.
  • Conducts or obtains background checks and employee eligibility verifications

Learning and Development:

  • Identify training needs and assist in the development of training programs.
  • Coordinate employee development activities to enhance skills and capabilities.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and contribute to data analysis for decision-making.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • May be called to support roles outside your JD as business needs arise.

Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in HR roles
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS.
  • Strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
