We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Internal Auditor (Female)
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Internal Auditor will support the company in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, the effectiveness of internal controls, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• The role is suitable for a candidate with an accounting background and 1–3 years of experience in auditing or accounting, who is eager to grow professionally while contributing to sound financial and operational practice

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting internal audits of financial and operational activities.
• Review accounting records and financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform cash, inventory, and expense checks.
• Review daily sales, cash records, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in identifying errors, irregularities, and control weaknesses.
• Support fraud detection and prevention initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
• Provide audit support during external audits when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and audit procedures.
• Professional certification (ICAN) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
