Job Position: Internal Control Officer

Job Location: Owerri, Imo

Job Description
Safeguard the Organization:

• Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures to

Proactive Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry Standards.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and internal control reviews to identify potential areas of risk, fraud, or non-compliance.

Evaluate and Optimize:

• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties,
• Audit and Recommend access controls, and authorization processes.
• Perform internal audits, reviews, and testing procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of financial and operational Collaborate for Change information.
• Work closely with departmental managers and process owners to address control deficiencies and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor and track remediation efforts, provide training, and investigate suspected issues to enhance organizational resilience.
