Job Position: IT Asset Officer
Job Location: Lagos (Onsite)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive IT Asset Officer to manage the lifecycle of all IT hardware and software assets within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate asset records, policy compliance, and cost effective utilization of technology resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an up to date inventory of all IT hardware and software assets
• Track asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement
• Coordinate asset deployment, allocation, movement, and retrieval
• Ensure license compliance and support software audits
• Prepare regular asset reports and analytics for management
• Work with IT, Finance, and Procurement on budgeting and asset planning
• Monitor asset performance and recommend upgrades or replacements
• Ensure adherence to IT asset management policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset, Inventory, Procurement, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals, and software licensing
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and Excel
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework is an added advantage.
