1.) Data / Voice Roaming IREG Personnel

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• This job holder is expected to act for technical requirements in the area of Core and Roaming services.
• Be involved in activation of Roaming services with new Operators worldwide, periodical tests and new test according to the changes or improvement of new numbering/routing plan.
• Ensure regular Governance & Roaming KPI’s are delivered as defined Targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure and Maintain Roaming Performance for Voice/Data/SMS KPIs.
• Roaming service activation & Troubleshooting. Configuration and Testing activity.
• IREG tests preparation and execution as per business defined targets
• Proactive checks and analysis as per Roaming Dashboard Activities defined and drive improvement actions in close coordination with Roaming Manager
• Ensure Weekly Governance with Business, IT and RA to review the status of new launches, Customer complaints & Frauds
• Monitoring of Roaming Inbound and Outbound Traffic
• Regular Configuration audit and implement service gaps
• Regular SIM audits and sign OFF with Roaming Manager to avoid any Potential Frauds
• Understand the roamers performance by managing roaming tests,
• Roaming Traffic analysis and improvement action plan to be driven
• Technical guidance and QoS Monitoring thru effective usage of Roaming Suite and other related products
• Drive and Deliver Roaming Products and Solutions to enhance customer delight & Roaming Revenue
• Suggest and implement the right solutions in order to keep the roamers and to improve the roaming traffic,
• Roaming statistics database for reference,
• Track and Review Roaming TT,CR,IREG test, Dashboard
• IR Database management and SIM management

Detailed and Effective Documentation:

• Ensure all documentation are stored in Central location with Unique ID and Version, regularly updated pertaining to :
• Solution Design, HLD,LLD, Acceptance Docs, Roaming Database, Capacity & Utilizations for the Roaming Suite
• NCP & Project Related document
• New Roaming Products
• Roaming N/W KPI & SLA
• Roaming IR Database
• SIM Management Doc

Vendor/Partner Management:

• Technical relationship with Roaming partners
• Ensure Response to the Roaming Partners Queries/Issues

Time management:

• Prioritize self-workload as required to meet the fluctuating demands of business and requirements from other stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

• Bachelor's / Master's of Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering Degree / Computer Science
• Detailed working Telecommunications Knowledge
• Analytical and Presentation skills

Relevant Experience:

• 5 - 7 years of Work Experience on an Telco Roaming/Settlement Systems
• Networking roaming experience,
• Experience in Core/Radio Network, GSM.
• Good project management knowledge
• Experience in measuring and analyzing network KPI ‘key performance indicators

2.) Lead, Network Optimization

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• Provide effective technical support and continually seek for quality improvements within the Mobile Network Optimization project.
• Achieve and maintain a high-quality level of the 2G / 3G / 4G and 5G Radio Network Services, and ensure high quality performance on all technical activities, and the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure optimization of Network:

• Proposes indicators for the continuous analysis and follow-up of radio voice and data quality of service, generates proper alarms and recommends solutions when needed.
• Proposes preventive and/or corrective actions for the provisioning of acceptable QoS for voice and data services.
• Responsible for Inconsistencies Checks, Packet Throughput, Parameter changes & Physical changes.
• Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites.
• Discuss the frequency & Scrambling Code retunes requests with his team leader for his designated area.
• Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to improve the performance of his area.
• Monitor & analyze the GSM, WCDMA/HSDPA Radio Network Statistics on daily basis.
• Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity).
• Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in his designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed.
• Participate in technical discussions with the customer in order to gather product-related information.
• Recommends measurement tools for the radio, Abis and A interfaces and related post processing tools.
• Proposes and verifies the implementation of optimal solutions in order to improve operational efficiency of the unit.
• Follows corrective actions based on the internal reports of coverage analysis.
• Perform Radio Network Surveys, i.e. visit possible sites in order to judge if they are suitable from a radio network point of view (Hardware & Location).
• Follows-up and ensures the existence of sufficient capacity in the radio network (including on the BSC-BTS and the air interfaces).
• Researches and implements solutions for continuous service improvement in respect to parameter settings and configuration.
• Investigates and recommends proper solutions for customer complaints; validates proposed solutions related to parameter modification on the radio network.
• Validates the recommended radio parameters and configuration provided by the unit.
• Follows-up general Radio access technology trends relating to radio optimization activities and assists the RAN Research & Studies unit in the update of Radio engineering guidelines accordingly.

Required Skills, Experience and Eductional Qualifications
Educational Level:
Must have:

• University Degree in Computer or Telecommunication Engineering

Working Experience:
Must have:

• 10 years of experience in 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of Optimization & Planning experience, primarily in Optimization of 4G
• Minimum of 4 years with vendors (Huawei, ZTE and Nokia) experience or well-known operators in telecommunication or related field

Skills critical to the role:

• Good Excel Skills
• Excellent knowledge of the field of 2G/3G/4G radio communication and optimization
• Good knowledge in performance management, DB parameters and features.

3.) BISP Network Engineer

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time
Career level: Mid-Senior level

Purpose of the Job

• The role will be charged with providing support to the Head, Network Security in ensuring Network Security in line with the Bharti Information System Policy (BISP) relating to Networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Compliance to Bharti Information Security Policy (BISP) as relates to network
• Implementation, Compliance and Controls of Networks related AAISP/ANgISP and ISO standards

Partner Management:

• Work with network-managed services partners to ensure their compliance to BISP regarding Airtel Business.

Security of Physical Assets:

• Airtel network physical assets at MSC locations and data centers, working through Facilities of SCM.
• Physical cabling and device security within the core nodes working with MS partners and Networks Core team.
• Physical security of assets at sites, working through operations team and tower co-partners.

Deployment and maintenance of Security Systems:

• Ensure vulnerability assessment is performed on all Network Nodes and close all identified vulnerabilities in accordance with AA ISMS VA and PT Process.
• Enforce strict use of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform and ensure all privilege access to critical Network Nodes are monitored

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Telecom or Electronics or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years or more of work experience in the Telecoms environment
• Understanding of telecom NMS, OSS, billing and revenue assurance activities.
• Experience in GSM and WCDMA domains through telecom experience. LTE experience will be an added advantage.

5.) Lead, General Ledger & Revenue Reporting

Job Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

• Provide management with information relevant to aid decision making aimed at Operational expenses efficiency.

Key Accountabilities
Intercompany Accounts Reconciliation:

• Liaise with all other Airtel Opcos for transactions closure.
• Ensure an up-to-date reconciliation of all intercompany balance.
• Ensure 100% signed-off of intercompany balances is obtained monthly.

Month-End Closure Process

• Timely and accurate submission of all HQ required reports.
• Liaise with all other units within the Directorates for any variances noted during trial balance review for month end closure.
• Ensure monthly closure of financials through upload of trial balance into Hyperion Financial Management application.
• Ensure that HQ accounting guidelines and process are being complied with no deviation.
• Perform monthly revaluation of all foreign denominated balance and reconciled the forex revaluation to MAPA
• Co-ordinate submission of all AGs Alignment and DTR schedules within Group timeline

Preparation of Financial Statements:

• Ensure annual financial statements are prepared in line with current International Accounting Standards.
• Co-ordinate all stakeholder within the business for timeline completion of annual financial statements

Internal & External Audit Exercise:

• Facilitate smooth running of all audit exercise within Financial Reporting directorate.

Adhoc Activities:

• Act as a link between Nigeria Financial Reporting team and Group Financial Reporting team
• Ensure all prompt response to all HQ queries.
• Coordinate the activities of Airtel Money and TowerCo

Required Skills, Experience and Educational Qualifications
Educational Level:

• Interested candidates must have:
  • Graduate Degree in Accounting or related discipline
  • Professional Qualification in Accounting like ACCA, ICAN

Working Experience:

• Interested candidates must have:
  • 7-8 years of preferably in FMCG, Communication & Telecom

Skills critical to the role:
