We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.)  Human Resources Generalist

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will provide support on all HR value chains such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, employee database management, etc.
  • The Officer will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.
  • The goal of the role is to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counseling to employees on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Support to develop training and development programs.
  • Assist in monitoring employee performance and the performance management processes.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
  • Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
  • Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
  • And to carry out other duties that may be assigned by your line manager.

Requirements and skills

  • B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or any relevant field; further training will be a plus.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  • HR Credentials (e.g., ACIPM, PHR etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as HR officer,administratororother HR position
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Additional training/certification in Payroll Management – may be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.

2.) Stock Controller

Job Locations: Lugbe - Abuja (FCT), Asaba - Delta & Maryland - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient management of stocks with correct stock entries which are updated in a timely manner.
  • You will work closely with the Cost Controller, Lagos to ensure that stock control procedures are in place and adhered to in order to safeguard company inventory, minimize the risks associated with inventory loss and optimize stocks in trade.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain accurate procedures for all inventory control processes and functions,
  • Accountable for the implementation of audit recommendations on inventory management processes and systems,
  • Conduct inventory stock takes and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Conduct stock reconciliations of physical counts and highlight variances to the relevant stakeholders,
  • Participate in scheduled and annual stock counts, preparation of stock position reports and sign-off records submission for further actions,
  • Management of the stakeholders' relationship and ensuring partnerships are struck to support internal controls in safeguarding company inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to ensure uninterrupted availability of stock and optimize stocks in trade.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc inventory levels and consumption reports to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all stock movements are tracked daily end to end via requisite systems (Inventory Module, Navision) and variances therewith reconciled and reported.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the inventory management system,
  • Work with the Cost Controller, Lagos to manage controls to reduce inventory loss, implement measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved,
  • Produce weekly reports to ensure critical areas of the inventory management system (covering both sales and spares) are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved,
  • Work with Cost Controller, Lagos in carrying out assessments of the supply chain to identify risks. develop and implement solutions useful in minimizing losses,

Key Performance Indicators

  • Manage, monitor, reconcile and account for stocks.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Inventory turnover,
    • Inventory days,
    • Stock-out,
    • Stock loss ratio.
  • Report on all stock movements and stock positions daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Work with the Cost controller, Lagos and relevant stakeholders to prepare forecast and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
  • Assist in implementing inventory policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years of work experience.

3.) Innovation Manager

  • We are seeking for an innovation officer to focus on developing, managing and implementing new ideas and innovation for the enhancement of our company's innovative capabilities.
  • In this role, you will actively identify key areas for innovative transformation, develop plans according to varying timelines, and manage these processes by aligning innovation goals with the company's broader business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meeting with stakeholders at different levels to identify areas of innovation and growth.
  • Develops new applications, tools and platforms that will improve Genesis Deluxe Cinemas Service delivery across all value chain
  • Identifying innovation trends and business opportunities within the market.
  • Developing, strategizing, and planning new interventions that will drive innovation.
  • Strategizes with product development teams to transform general ideas into workable solutions.
  • Analyzes existing practices to isolate areas ripe for improvement or enhancement.
  • Evaluates the progress of innovation and adjusts the pace or direction of new projects in accordance.
  • Formulates effective new ideas and innovative strategies for product development, marketing, branding, or business opportunities
  • Recognizes promising ideas and finds ways to introduce them into the company’s future plans and discards ideas that are ineffective, costly, or beyond the scope of the company’s mission or abilities to develop.
  • Keeps all new projects in line with the company’s mission and maintains consistency with the company’s message and brand.

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any technology related field. in strategy, leadership, business, or management.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in IT or technology
  • Candidate must reside in Lagos.
  • Must possess IT skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuasively sell ideas.
  • Must be a good Team player with excellent ability to multi-tasking and able to adapt to varying Situations.
  • Must possess an inquisitive and creative mind.
  • Superior research and analytical skills to track and predict trends.
  • Must be able to work creatively within a budget and use innovation to find ways of more effectively managing resources.
