- The Restaurant Audit Specialist is responsible for conducting audits to ensure compliance with operational, financial, and food safety standards.
- This role involves assessing processes, identifying discrepancies, and providing actionable insights to improve restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine audits on financial transactions, inventory management, and food safety protocols.
- Assess compliance with regulatory and company standards in kitchen, service, and storage areas.
- Review and verify sales records, receipts, and cash handling procedures.
- Conduct spot-checks on inventory and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Prepare and present audit reports, detailing observations, recommendations, and action plans.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
