We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Research Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Drive client satisfaction by assisting with analysis and reporting;
  • Strong understanding of data collected and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights;
  • Experienced with thematic and content analysis for data extraction;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to develop quantitative questionnaires;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data in a challenging and insightful manner;
  • Proficient presentation development skills to creatively bring data to life with story-telling and attractive reporting to client expectations;
  • Efficient time management, ability to multi-task and detail oriented;
  • Displays maturity and creative problem-solving skills in handling crises;
  • Attend fieldwork (in person or virtually);
  • Assist senior staff in managing the day-to-day administration of client service activities and coordinating with Project Management team for updates;
  • Should be proactive in updating/highlighting senior leadership on progress of projects;
  • Willingness to learn and should have positive attitude towards work;
  • Disciplined work ethic with respect to client deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months to one year of experience in quantitative research or statistical analysis;
  • Minimum academic qualification – degree;
  • Analytical, creative and has critical thinking skills;
  • Strong command of PowerPoint and familiarity with Microsoft Excel;
  • Team player with effective communication skills;
  • Responsible, hardworking, and attentive to details;
  • Fluency in English.

2.) SMB Sales Executive

Job Location: Lagos

About this Job

  • As Business Development Individual in the SMB team, you will be part of the sales organization in NielsenIQ and will collaborate with the respective market Sales Team to generate revenue for the products you are assigned for Small and Medium Clients in your respective market.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track sales record.
  • We are looking for a team player who has strong bias for action, and an ability to ‘find a way’ to overcome barriers and challenges.
  • You will build networks, and work on assignments and opportunities across borders, which will require strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Existing/Previous knowledge and exposure to NielsenIQ retail measurement data will be a plus.

Responsibilites

  • Approaching new whitespace clients to increase the client base; Pitching to the new client and explaining them the NIQ products and offerings
  • Working on client proposals, costing, feasibilities & RFPs
  • Coordinating & collaborating with internal teams for smooth client experience
  • Supporting the team to achieve revenue target and business results by championing a client-centric sales mindset
  • To drive and champion a sales and growth mindset within the organization
  • To manage the BD pipeline and maintenance of the internal documents, trackers and adherence to the KPIs / SLAs.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of working experience and proven sales results
  • Strategic sales and business development competency will be a plus.
  • Excellent client management and relationship building skills and ability to converse with stakeholders in clients’ organizations, up to C-Suite level
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategy and the use of market data
  • Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Consultative Sales, B2B
  • Master full sales process from lead generation to closing sales.

3.) Market Research Business Development Lead

Job Location: Lagos
Career Site Team: Sales

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue target
  • Build client relationships through engagement, identifies business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of NielsenIQ solutions as well as current market conditions
  • Maintain relationships with current clients, supporting and directly servicing part of the coming client requests  
  • Day-to-day execution of set team sales targets following company strategy  
  • Approach potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients and grow business with them
  • Prepare Client proposals, contracts, orders to invoice
  • Supports maintenance of the revenue related documents, materials, tracking files
  • Drive and execute sales campaigns in close collaboration with Delivery teams.

 Qualifications

  • Higher Education with a Degree preferable in Economics, Marketing, Business or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience ideally from FMCG, distributor, retailer or marketing and/or research agency 
  • Previous experience with NielsenIQ data and reports is a plus
  • Easily adaptable to new business intelligence tools, such as SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft and other online tools and platforms
  • Good track record in previous analytical and/or sales roles
  • Recommendation from the previous employer is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of business English, both in writing and orally.
