1.) Accountant

Job Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
School Fees Function:


  • Prepare School Bills for All Students
  • Update Students’ Records
  • Prepare Billing Summary
  • Receive bank tellers and raise receipt via the cash receipt journal
  • Update cash receipt journal
  • Prepare report of fees and extract the outstanding fees
  • Prepare termly school fees reconciliation

Students' Population Statistics:

  • Prepares weekly report of students’ population
  • Update students’ class list

Treasury Function:

  • Petty cash reimbursement function.
  • Bank imprest reimbursement function
  • Bank reconciliation function
  • Prepare of cash flow statement.
  • Maintenance of School Bank Account and supporting ledgers

Others:

  • Involved in the school day-to-day running expense decisions
  • Work with the Head of School to prepare the budget
  • School financial analysis
  • Budget implementation and monitoring with regular variance analysis reports.
  • Advisory and follow-up on cost management.
  • Prepare the school’s financial statements.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets register.
  • Oversees inventory management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / Master Degree in relevant field with 2 years of experience.

2.) School Nurse

Job Location: Abijo (Ajah/Badore), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Classroom rounds and checking of pupils as regards to their personal hygiene.
  • Collecting all prescribed drugs for safe keeping and proper administration.
  • Ensuring that any pupil affected by any communicable infection is kept at home and a medical clearance certificate is required before such pupil is admitted back in the school.
  • Hourly monitoring of toilets.
  • Thorough inspection of play equipment and playing grounds on daily basis.
  • Supervision of pupils during P.E. and break time.
  • Administering first aid treatment to sick children and staff and also observation of any change in condition.
  • Sending of medical newsletter to inform parents and guardian of outbreak and precautions to be taken.
  • Daily inspection of water dispensers, water bottles and ensuring regular supply of water refills.

Minimum Requirements

  • A good University Degree in Nursing or a Registered and certified Nurse from a reputable school.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cognate experience. Previous experience in similar role in a school will be highly regarded.

3.) Special / Additional Needs Teacher

Job Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide class/subject teachers with a follow up on the pupil’s progress in the Learning support programme.
  • Find out the level of pupil’s progress from both class and subject teachers; and also, the nature/severity of the pupil’s difficulty as perceived by the class/subject teachers.
  • Carry out research on the nature of difficulty of each pupil. He/she is expected to be vast and highly knowledgeable in this field.
  • Carry out classroom observations and assessment for placement of pupils on additional needs programme.
  • Recommend pupils for full assessment by certified professionals when the need arises.
  • Carry out assessment reports recommendations and implications for learning.
  • Notify the school management of the need to invite parents for a chat.
  • Carry out assessment on new pupils at the point of admission to determine whether they have a learning difficulty or not and if the school has the facility and the capability to care for the pupils should they be admitted.
  • Carry out skills assessment/academic achievement tests on all pupils in the Learning Support Programme.
  • Discuss individual goals and objectives with pupils.
  • Design draw up individualised education programmes IEPs that will suit the needs and abilities of the pupils.
  • Keep accurate, well organised and confidential records of each pupil undertaking his/her programme.
  • Make records available for official purposes.
  • Monitor pupils’ progress and keep progress records.
  • Advise the school management of the need to refer the child’s case to a specialist.
  • Prepare teaching materials and use a range of resources including worksheets and other computer resources.
  • Guide and support class/subject teachers and class assistants working with the pupils.
  • Keep the school management and parents adequately informed.
  • Deliver individual and group training sessions to staff or parents as the need arises.
  • Create / Provide resources that will aid effective teaching and learning of pupils.

Qualifications

  • Educational qualification - B.Sc + NCE or PDE, B.Sc (Ed) or B.Ed with TRCN.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar position preferably in a secondary school.
  • A certificate in SEN is a must.Only SEN qualified candidates should apply.
  • Proximity to the school/location is a necessity (No accomodation)

  • Evidence of ability to support teachers, manage time and work to strict deadlines.
  • Creativity to devise interesting and appropriate learning activities.
