We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Geophysical and Geotechnical Survey Specialist

Job Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description


  • As a Geophysical/Geotechnical Survey specialist you will be responsible for the mobilisation, operation, maintenance and demobilisation of geophysical and hydrographic survey equipment onboard our nearshore and offshore survey vessels.
  • As part of this role you’ll be responsible for acquiring data and ensuring equipment is recording the quality of data we expect.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in project coordination for geotechnical/geophysical engineering  soil investigation works/ Geophysical survey works / Geotechnical Engineering Works.
  • Attend project meetings, prepare project planning and coordination of installation, reporting works, and other related scopes of works such as cost control, safety control
  • Under the direction of the onshore technical support team or offshore project manager develop and operate appropriate engineering and administrative processes in order to effectively support the work of the Geophysical Department.
  • To be proficient in the use, maintenance, deployment and mobilisation of all Gardline Geophysical and Seismic equipment.
  • Day-to-day site operation to ensure works are constructed as per project & safety requirem
  • To ensure that the engineering work is performed at the highest standards in accordance with the company’s Quality Assurance and HSE procedures.
  • To ensure that all Geophysical and Seismic Engineering equipment is tested, calibrated, sufficient spares stocked, manuals are available.
  • To ensure that the Geophysical and Seismic data is acquired in compliance with good survey practice and logs are completed in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor and quality control data records in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensuring safe and efficient mobilisations and demobilisation
  • Problem solving and decision-making skill
  • Accurate reporting of equipment issues
  • Offshore point of contact for technical support
  • Maintain offshore inventory and stock levels.
  • Supervision of offshore teams during mobilisations and maintenance checks
  • Installation and configuration of survey equipment
  • Receipt and dispatch of survey equipment onto vessels
  • Offshore maintenance, and repair of survey and IT equipment
  • Lead by example with respect to HSE.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications in an Engineering, Electronics or Mechanical field.
  • A solid understanding of survey-QA/QC engineering
  • Proven track record to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Broad knowledge of Geophysical and Seismic operations.
  • Experience of Geotechnical/Geophysical survey mobilisation and data acquisition
  • Offshore experience as survey engineer or technical experience onshore
  • Ability to work on own initiative in high pressure situations.
  • Team spirit and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

2.) Senior Field Telecommunication Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Perform Project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead consisting in design, checking, validation, testing and engineering Telecommunication Systems
  • Interface and coordinate with the other Project Team Specialists and Designers
  • Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing either by outsourcing
  • The Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements

Tasks include:

  • Development Technology know how and Commercial support
  • Feasibility
  • Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development:
    • Prepare Telecommunication Systems quantities for cost and erection works estimates
    • Support Discipline Lead to define man hours and cost estimates
  • Project Execution:
    • Review Client technical documentation and requirements
    • Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents.
    • Define engineering design basis and guidelines
    • Prepare the technical documentation for Telecommunication material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations
    • Provide technical support to Project Team
    • Optimise Telecommunication Systems design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirements
    • Prepare Telecommunication systems functional specifications
    • Prepare Telecommunication equipment data sheets
    • Validate Vendor Telecommunication BOQs
    • Coordinate detail engineering activities and ensure proper installation drawings definition
    • Participates to F.A.T. activities ad Vendor workshop
  • Construction and start up:
    • Participate to Site Acceptance Test and functional checks
    • Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team
    • Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications
  • Experience: more than 8 years in on/offshore Projects with Site activities experience.

3.) Contracts Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Objective

  • Responsible for contract negotiations, production of contractual documentation, assessing contractual effectiveness, managing spending profiles and developing good working relationships with suppliers.
  • The contract manager will also be responsible for producing relevant paperwork for the ESISS service and for purchasing additional network equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate or renegotiate if necessary new and existing agreements or statements of work.
  • Ensure readability and comprehensibility of active contracts documents, agreements and with Clients, while consistently adhering to standards and legal requirements.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and to ensure good customer relations while also representing the interests of company.
  • Recommend and coordinate the implementation of policies and procedures for assigned functions and assist in developing new policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking contract reviews and advising Project Delivery team on how to interpret and apply key contract provisions on the day-to-day operational clauses of contracts; providing analysis of commercial issues post-contract, preparing notes of advice and commercial drafting for post-contract claims and variations. Developing effective working relationships with contractors
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications to department directors/managers.
  • Analyze impact of modifications and revisions and prepare and communicate recommendations to management.
  • Advise management of contract commitments, deficiencies, commitments, and performance
  • Leading the negotiation of the commercial aspects of lower value contracts to deliver the client’s Business Plan objectives, including the mitigation of commercial risk and ensuring the compatibility of technical and commercial elements by supporting the preparation and negotiation of technical schedules and ensuring their compatibility with commercial schedules.
  • Search and find opportunities favorable to the Company to improve the contract value through potential variations or claims in a fair manner, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with service reviews and actively following issues through until satisfactory resolution.
  • Support the Head of Procurement and Subcontracting to monitor supplier and service provider performance; Guide the Subcontract Office to communicate with suppliers and service providers on contract terms and manage dispute resolution.
  • Review the scope of work and other materials related to contracts and procurement; provide guidance to programs in drafting solicitation documents, such as request for proposals (RFPs), documented quotes (DQs), and sole source justifications.
  • Provide procurement and contractual guidance to staff, project managers, and other contract stakeholder.
  • Production of contract documentation and change controls and ensuring timely signature by authorizedpersonnel.
  • Supply and support of routers and switching framework.
  • Collating contract information from the frameworks for reports.
  • Participating in projects as required
  • Ensure alignment between the proposal narrative, scope of work, evaluation criteria, evaluation scorecard, the contract, and other contract procurement documents.
  • Generating reports on various aspects of supplier performance against the contractual requirements and feed back to the internal system.

Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
  • Experience required for the Position: 15 years of experience in the same or related role.
  • Professional Qualification required for the Position: Possess Certification in CCMA, CPCM, CFCM

Salary Range
NGN 2,000,000 - NGN2,500,000 / Month (Gross).
