1.) Electronic Technician Lead

Job Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • The primary function of this position is to manage the maintenance, repair and the return to service of on-bus electronic components.
  • Ensure that all work performed is accomplished in accordance with all company regulations.
  • Initiative and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions, as well as interface with maintenance personnel, Customer Service, Safety, Operations Support Unit and vendors to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily management of all onboard electronic equipment including security components, GPS communication equipment, and onboard media equipment to ensure the highest quality onboard experience is provided to customers
  • This position will be the technical subject matter expert for all onboard electronics, including communicating and training personnel on equipment updates and/or newly sourced equipment
  • This position will update product manuals including electrical drawings and wiring documents to ensure accuracy of published materials
  • This position will manage and participate in daily fleet audits. This includes some data entry and performance reporting analysis. Incumbent must be able to lead monthly supplier meetings when assigned
  • Manage all asset tracking tools, weekly, including supplier provided web portals to ensure complete and accurate reporting is available
  • Communicate regularly with management on the progress of assignments, challenges encountered, related work conditions, equipment or personnel
  • Actively participates in safety or educational training as required
  • Develop and manage onboard equipment preventative maintenance programs. These programs will be performed in accordance with company regulations to ensure system integrity
  • Lead maintenance personnel through problem solving activities to create long term solutions to chronic equipment or process challenges. Maintain and submit issues logs to management as required
  • Manage inventory to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained for replacement components and equipment
  • Follows all safety standards & guidelines, including but not limited to, wearing of safety glasses, wearing of steel-toed/safety shoes, appropriate safety gloves as needed, and proper attire
  • Ability to self-manage or work as part a group

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or, B.Sc Degree
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 5-7 years of technical field experience
  • Must have a valid Drivers’ License

2.) Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Job Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of parts, purchasing and inventory based on demand and cost targets.
  • Maintain stock at a level that enables internal servicing and repair departments to complete their work without delay and avoid the costs of carrying excessive inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts replaced under warranty and details of faulty parts.
  • Coach, mentor and train parts personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for current coach repair work.
  • Monitor re-order levels and replenish inventory to maintain proper inventory levels within set company parameters.
  • Work closely with maintenance response team to assist with the supply of parts for coaches at outside vendors
  • Monitor and adjust parts inventory
  • Monitors and ensures warranty claims are addressed with appropriate response.
  • Fluids Lubes
  • Work with service personnel to provide oversight for inventory, assist with ordering parts, conduct annual on-site inventory and provide training as needed to service personnel
  • Identifies most cost-effective means to obtain parts.
  • Leads employees to achieve goals and objectives; provide ingoing feedback to employees concerning strengths and areas of needed improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures with parts room employees.
  • Determines work to be done, techniques and tools to be used and manages workloads.

Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a minimum of a Diploma qualification.
  • 2+ years of experience with parts inventory for heavy duty truck/bus shop environment
  • 2+ years of warehouse inventory or distribution experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to solve problems and make real-time decisions.
  • Experience in interviewing, evaluating, and training preferred
  • Skill in working as part of a dynamic team.
  • Able to lead employees to perform the highest quality work and exceed expectations
  • MS Office (Word, Excel)

3.) Terminal Supervisor

Job Location: Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Conditions: Indoors and outdoors.

Job Summary

  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all touch points within the terminal and employee/ customer interaction.
  • Proactively addresses any customer relationship issues.
  • Direct supervision of drivers.
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are adhered to.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist with the interviewing and selection of hourly personnel. Ensures that all personnel have been trained and/or retrained according to customer service standards.
  • Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction. Concentration on terminal cleanliness and overall facility condition as well as employee appearance is critical. Maintains a high level of customer experience quality in accordance with company standards.
  • Reviews driver manpower needs and ensures proper coverage. Responsible for planning of driver vacations, future books offs and run change assignment
  • Ensures sound cash control and maintains field accounting standards.
  • Provides employee development by providing ongoing feedback to employees concerning strengths and areas of needed improvement and may recommends supplemental training programs.
  • Basic understanding of federal, and state laws, working closely with Admin/HR to address all levels of harassment complaints and assist in investigating thoroughly all allegations of harassment
  • Ensures drivers are properly credentialed to operate a commercial motor vehicle. Ensures drivers are reporting to work on time and in complete uniform or as may be mandated by the company and ready to work. Review and management of logs
  • Ensures safety of passengers and employees by proactively removing hazards and fostering an environment of safety.
  • Works with Operations Support Units and Department (OSU/D) to ensure operational execution. Monitors and ensures compliance with safety standards and customer service
  • Determines proper staffing levels to ensure customer service expectation are met.
  • Reports on deviations from standard
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be available to put in extra work hours, may include weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Graduate Degree in relevant discipline with at least 6 years of experience
  • Hospitality or Customer Service experience.
