Ardova Plc is a Nigerian leading indigenous and integrated energy company involved in the distribution of petroleum products. With an extensive network of over 450 retail outlets in Nigeria and significant storage facilities in Apapa, Lagos and Onne, Rivers State, we procure and distribute petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), kerosene (DPK) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Our services also involve the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of quality lubricants from our oil blending plant in Apapa, Lagos. These lubricants include: Super V, Visco 2000 and Diesel Motor Oil. We are also the sole authorised distributor of Shell branded Helix Engine Oils in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:


1.) Team Lead, LPG Retail Sales

Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The role holder is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding customer relationship, and identifying new business opportunities.

Job Details

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the LPG business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders. 
  • Identify customer needs, provide product information, and offer solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the market presence.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain minimum stock of LPG at retail outlet and LPG plants being covered.

Requirements
Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 2.2.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing etc. Previous experience in an LPG sales role is paramount
  • Relevant professional certification and post graduate degree is an added advantage

Skills:

  • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.
  • Influential leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving with a results-driven mindset.

2.) Business Manager (Retail) - North

Job Location: Kano
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Optimization of company’s assets for sales and marketing of all company‘s products across the retail outlets and providing leadership to the Retail Marketing Associates within the region to deliver set targets.
  • The job holder is charged with coordinating sales activities, development and implementation of strategies and plans to achieve expected levels of sales at the retail outlets across designated region.

Job Details

  • Business development of the company operated outlets in the region.
  • Lead the drive for the growth of AP’s market share in the region 
  • Ensure compliance is maintained with AP’s policies in operation area.
  • Deliver on volume, revenue, profit and OPEX set targets 
  • Provide leadership to the team to foster collaboration needed to function as a unit.
  • Drive regulatory compliance within area of operation.
  • Set budgets and conduct periodic performance appraisal for Retail Marketing Associates 
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards across all retail outlets in the region
  • Liaise with Terminal operations and fleet to ensure product availability and optimal stock quantities for the stations
  • Propose product prices to drive profitability and revenue.     
  • Keep abreast of industry and market trends, as well as competition at the regional level to support strategic decision making
  • Drive the deployment of effective strategies to increase footfall at the retail outlets and strengthen the brand.

Requirements
Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

  • Able to present and express information effectively and also responds positively to feedback
  • Good knowledge of Ardova’s products and services
  • Good customer service, relationship management tools, networking/teaming skills
  • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.
  • Thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
  • Applies innovative solutions to problems and improve internal processes.
