We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.)  Finance Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Responsibilities

  • Filing of statutory returns to regulatory authorities
  • Support in the preparation of management and financial reports for the company
  • Support the development of plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure
  • Support the identification of investment opportunities
  • Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Overseeing the general activities of the finance department.
  • Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Preparing balance sheets
  • Processing invoices
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Support with budget preparation
  • Review and implement financial policies
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Support in the review and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirements
Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

  • Minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-NYSC experience in financial services
  • A relevant Master’s degree and relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in the insurance sector will be an added advantage
  • Must have professional certification in ICAN, ACCA or in the process of achieving certification

2.) Team Member, Retail Underwriting

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Retail Underwriting
Reports To: Head, Retail Underwriting

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the processing of new application, renewal, cancellation and/or an alteration to an existing risk for the class of business being underwritten for retail customers.
  • Implement underwriting standards to ensure alignment with the organization’s guidelines.
  • Revise policy coverage and terms to accommodate customers' needs.
  • Ensure revised policy coverage and terms adhere to organisation's guidelines.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers throughout underwriting process to achieve an optimal outcome for both customers and organisation.
  • Identify possible improvements for policy implementations and make appropriate suggestions.
  • Utilize specialist knowledge of insurance products and services to meet complex client needs.
  • Evaluate local and international industry trends and developments on product development and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor the impact of legislation and regulations on the processing of new and existing risks being underwritten and the issue of associated documentation.
  • Maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements and organizational compliance strategies.

Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

  • Degree in Finance, Insurance or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (2) to (6) years of experience in the Insurance Industry and in the Underwriting function.
  • Professional qualification and membership such as Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria is a key requirement.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Understands the scope of cover, including policy extensions, limitations, and exclusions for the class of business being underwritten.
  • Sound Knowledge of the Insurance industry.
  • Ability to apply internal compliance procedures to ensure own work is in compliance with standards.

3.) Team Lead, Enterprise Risk Management

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating risk, assessing risk tolerances, and monitoring risk performance in Coronation Life Assurance Limited.
  • Supports the Head, Enterprise Risk Management in the implementation, review and approval of the enterprise-wide risk and governance framework which includes
  • Coronation Life Assurance Limited risk culture, risk appetite, and risk limits.
  • Actively monitors the risk-taking activities and risk exposures to ensure they are in line with the approved risk appetite, risk limits.
  • Responsible for conducting risk assessments on strategic initiatives.
  • Establishes early warning or trigger system for breaches of the Coronation Life Assurance Limited’s risk appetite or limits.
  • Coordinate all risk champions in various department, work closely with the champions to identify and monitor the risk their units may be exposed to.
  • Provides leadership on risk related issues and serve has a strategic partner to all departments.
  • Maintain risk register for all departments and develop in conjunction with relevant business units, risk controls for managing identified risks.
  • Develop and implement an annual risk plan for managing risks at Coronation Life Assurance Limited
  • Implement a robust risk reporting procedure to ensure risks are reported/escalated to
  • Board Risk Committee, Executive Management or group/ unit heads.
  •  Carry out other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head, Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Educate, and train staff to build risk awareness within Coronation Life Assurance Limited.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Statistics Business Administration or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in risk/ compliance management.
  • Professional qualification/certification is an advantage.

4.) Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Software Quality Assurance Engineer role is responsible for safeguarding the quality, reliability, and performance of the company’s digital platforms.
  • This role involves planning, designing, executing, and automating tests to ensure robust functionality, while actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the software development lifecycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases for new features and existing
  • system enhancements, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze and review business requirements, user stories, and technical design documents to identify potential issues early and provide actionable feedback for improvements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools working collaboratively with development teams to ensure timely triage, resolution, and verification of defects.
  • Perform rigorous manual and automated functional, regression, usability, and performance testing across platforms to validate that applications meet business needs.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency, speed, and reliability, particularly for regression and performance tests.
  • Prepare detailed QA reports highlighting quality indicators, test results, defect trends, and areas for improvement. Monitor key metrics such as defect density and test coverage.
  • Partner closely with developers, product managers, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery throughout all phases of product development.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize testing efforts and drive process maturity.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements, ensuring they are well-defined and testable.
  • Analyze failed test results, investigate root causes, and provide insights to reduce recurring issues and improve overall system reliability.

Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance or software testing.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), with emphasis on how testing integrates within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools including but not limited to: Selenium, Postman, Appium, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and using scripting languages for test automation or data validation.
  • Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and the ability to apply them across various application types (web, mobile, API).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
