1.) IT System Administrator

Overview


  • We’re seeking an IT System Administrator with the experience needed to install, manage, and maintain computers, servers, telephony, and network systems to ensure the stable operations of TEK’s IT assets.
  • The individual will also ensure the integrity and stability of Voice, Data as well as the VPN connection of internal network and partner’s access.
  • This person shall analyze and resolve hardware and software problems and troubleshoot network performance issues while maintaining a high level of information security.  

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and manage all servers, IPBX and network devices at a site to keep them running properly, coordinating with System Admins at other sites to resolve problems.
  • Monitor and utilize Internet Links and SIP providers.
  • Follow change control management while implementing system changes, upgrades, and updates.
  • Responsible for creating and deleting telephone agents and ACD groups.
  • Responsible for managing Backup/Restore file sharing, SharePoint, and database system.
  • Ensure all IT Global policies/standards and procedures are in place and document new standards/procedures which are particularly applied to your site.
  • Conduct Daily/Weekly and Monthly System Health checklist, maintaining safety standards in the working environment that comply with TEK and partner’s HSSE standard.
  • Ensure all Security ERs/patches/hotfixes for servers, ensuring they are protected by the latest anti-virus software alongside general readiness for viruses or internet attacks.
  • Capacity planning for system upgrades.
  • Fully understand Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for business continuity. Make sure the compliant with TEK’s global DRP. Join the project team for DR Exercise.
  • Technical Representative at your site for solving Crisis problems, providing support for other teams, and managing LAB and testing environments.

Qualifications

  • MCSA, CCNA, or ITIL certification or higher is advantage but is not required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role including ITIL v3 or ISO20000 experience.
  • Should possess 4-6 of the following types of experience: - General knowledge of server and client systems hardware.
  • Virtualization – general knowledge/concept, basic experience in provisioning/administration with any vendor hypervisor (VMware ESX, Microsoft HyperV, Citrix Xen, etc.).
  • Server OS: Windows 2008 (R2), 2012 (R2).
  • Client OS: Windows 7,8. x,10. - Networking: general knowledge of devices, LAN/WAN concepts, data transmission, routing, protocol stack, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Additional knowledge in cloud technologies, backup software.
  • Strong technical skills with IPBX (VoIP), Server technology, and Virtualization.
  • Strong in IT Service Management for Incident, Change and Configuration Management.
  • Active Directory – concept, topology, general admin tasks.
  • PowerShell – administration, scripting.
  • O365 / Messaging applications – Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint (or alternatives from other vendors).
  • Mobile Device Management.
  • Process-oriented team player capable of being self-managed with excellent crisis management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.

2.) Facilities Manager

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • We’re seeking an experienced facilities or property management professional to join us as Facilities Manager/Property Manager.
  • This role oversees the office space for Tek Experts' operations.
  • You will ensure that our building and facilities stay well-maintained, always prioritizing timely responses to the needs and concerns of Tek Experts.
  • The Facilities Manager/Property Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and managing all maintenance needed to improve the operation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operational management of building according to company policies and procedures, approved budgets, business plans, and management direction.
  • Develop property business plans and annual operating budgets with a focus on increasing revenues, controlling costs, and maximizing the feasibility of the property accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for facilities issues, improvements, and others.
  • Monitor monthly utilities including but not limited to electricity, water, and gas.
  • Coordinate promptly solutions for daily service requests including maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Create and maintain supplier and contractor databases for office supplies, maintenance service providers, vendors, technicians, and contractors.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both verbal and written interactions with all internal and external parties.
  • Function as liaison between clients, leasing representatives, technicians, facilities manager, and other internal parties.
  • To manage the lease(s) administration, reviews, and renewals in cooperation with the Legal and Finance teams.
  • Overlook, report, and coordinate preventive maintenance ongoing contracts with the technical team including but not limited to HVAC, CCTV, Pest Control, backup systems, fire suppression, access control, and generators.
  • Report on the high-level strategy for the property for the management team.
  • Identify opportunities for making operational cost savings and coordinate implementation.

Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of facility/property management experience. 
  • Collaboration across multiple groups and properties.
  • Experience managing A-list multi-storey facilities.

3.) Fleet Administrator

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with vehicle providers to ensure the availability of vehicles for staff transport, pick-up, and drop-off.
  • Liaise with the operations manager regarding monthly staff shift data and allocate vehicles accordingly.
  • Draw up a monthly budget for the company’s fleet management and ensure it is observed.
  • Ensure that all vehicles provided by vendors are properly registered, in good condition, and meet standard safety requirements.
  • Develop a boarding/offboarding system that prevents disorderliness and ensure vendors’ compliance with local and national transport regulations.
  • Prepare monthly reports on vendors’ performance and ensure continuous improvement of staff transport operations.
  • Ensure that staff members adhere strictly to their route schedule.
  • Monitor vehicles’ locations to ensure that staff arrive at work on time.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Fleet Administration.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven experience with inventory, supply, and vendor management.
  • Impeccable time-management skills with a capacity for prioritizing and executing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced excel skills.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
