Pillarcraft Accounting is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax practitioners operating from two offices in Nigeria, Lekki, Lagos and Garki , Abuja, but virtually supporting small and medium scale business across Nigeria by providing Virtual Bookkeeping, Accounting , Tax management, Payroll management, business advisory and related services that facilitate growth and scale while business owners concentrate on running the business.

Job Position: Junior Accountant

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• As a Junior Accountant, you will work with the account team to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting function for the group.
• You will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with Xero cloud accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
