Job Position: Logistics and Compliance Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Oil and Gas (Downstream)

Job Responsibilities

• Experience in shipping, oil and gas.
• Be inclined in shipping and customs documentation and processes.
• Experience in freight forwarding and haulage
• Manage supplier delivery performance and maintain supplier contracts.
• Negotiate price with local and international carriers.
• Manage all logistics related supply chain activities of the company.
• Comprehensive understanding of management systems
• Experience in shipping maritime and logistics.
• Identify and deliver operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.
• Make sure that project deadlines are met.
• Complete and file compliance documentation for import, export and supply chain security.
• Negotiate the services of 3rd party carriers, couriers and haulage companies.
• Manage client expectations.
• Have excellent standards of numeracy.
• Knowledge of international and local shipping programs/standards.

Requirements

• M.Sc / B.Sc / HND in any relevant discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Logistics and Compliance Manager
• Experience in shipping Oil and Gas shipping
• Experience in freight forwarding and haulage.
