Job Position: Logistics Officer – Trucking Operations

Job Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer with a strong background in trucking operations to join our team in Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing truck fleets, coordinating deliveries, and navigating regulatory requirements in Lagos, including interactions with the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor truck movements for timely deliveries.
• Manage and maintain truck fleet schedules, servicing, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Liaise with LASTMA and other relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations within Lagos.
• Track delivery performance and resolve logistical challenges promptly.
• Prepare reports on trucking operations, costs, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO, NCE, OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a Logistics Officer within a trucking company.
• Proven expertise in truck management and fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos road networks and LASTMA processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software/tools is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must live within the Ibeju Lekki, Epe, Ajah axis.
• A male is needed for this position.
