Description of Role

  •  They are looking to hire Mechanical Engineers with proven experience in developing, designing, building, testing, inspecting, and maintaining all mechanical components and systems.

Job Description for the Mechanical Engineer Role
The Mechanical Engineer will:


  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Assisting the project engineer in developing work breakdown structures
  • Assisting the project engineer in preparing workshops and building drawings
  • Assisting the project engineer in ensuring that projects are completed according to drawing specifications
  • Assisting the project engineer in implementing operating procedures, resolving system malfunctions, and providing technical information
  • Providing feedback to project engineers on problems and needs onsite
  • Following company guidelines for environmental sustainability practices and maintaining the company’s reputation by complying with regulations
  • Attending and participating in the company’s training sessions and departmental staff meetings
  • Performing other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND (upper credit) or Bachelor's Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Honours).
  • 1 - 3 years professional experience or a minimum of 1 year post-NYSC work experience.

Skills:

  • Computer literacy skills
  • Must be proficient in using the AutoCAD software
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Must be able to work autonomously/independently
  • Should be willing to travel outside Lagos.
  • Experience in piping services, air conditioning design and installations.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 Gross Monthly.
