Medical Officer

Barbinton Medical Centre (a member of the Primary Care Quality Network) seeks a qualified individual (Medical Doctor: Bachelor of Medicine, MBBS or MBchB, registered with MDCN) for the role of medical officer.

The duties of the medical officer will include:

• Conducting routine general medical clinics and attending to medical emergencies.  Conducting examinations of ill patients and evaluating them to determine their condition. Treating or referring patients where necessary.
• Responsibility for patients' routine check-ups as well as non-emergency medical situations that arise.
• Helping patients prevent, understand, manage illness, and navigate set health goals.
• Running telemedicine clinics in collaboration with our online partners. 
• Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.
• Supervising the continuous quality Improvement Programme (training provided).
• Maintaining patient records in the computerised medical records system (training provided).
