Job Position: Operations Data Analyst (Cement)

Job Locations: Ibese - Ogun, Obajana - Kogi, Okpella - Edo, Gboko - Benue

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Operations Data Analyst to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc. As an Operations Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing operational data and providing valuable insights to optimize our cement operations
•  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in data analysis but also has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and performance indicators
• Develop and maintain reporting systems to track key metrics and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and quality checks
• Present analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis requests as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics)
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in an operations environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)
• Experience in the cement industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
