We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer


Job Locations: Victoria Island and Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best quality and price for goods and services.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documents.
  • Monitor purchase requisitions and coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on price, delivery schedules, and terms to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery, and quality.
  • Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on supplier options and industry trends.
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues related to supply or quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure timely payments and budget adherence.
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports and analysis for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 1-4 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software/systems.
  • Ability to analyze market and supplier data to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
