Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join our Quality Assurance team. The QA Officer is responsible for overseeing the entire quality control process, verifying compliance with regulatory and internal specifications, and implementing rigorous testing procedures to detect and prevent defects.
• The QA Officer collaborates with production teams to maintain consistent quality, enforces safety protocols, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify product specifications
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and implement quality control procedures
• Train staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices
• Maintain detailed documentation of quality metrics and reports.

Requirements

• Must have a Degree in Plastic Technology or any related field .
• 1 – 3 years in a QA/QC role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and testing methods
• Familiarity with flexible packaging materials (films, laminates, adhesives, etc.)
• Ability to conduct visual inspections, seal integrity tests, and barrier property evaluations
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to quality issues.

Salary

• N150,000 / Month.
