Lasaco was incorporated on December 20,1979 under the company Decree of 1968,the company then,know as Lagos State Assurance company Limited obtained licence as an insurer on July 7 1980.However,the operations oh LASACO Life company Limited and LASACO Assurance Plc which made the company to be a composite company.
