Uppercrest Limited is a Telecommunication Servicing Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Safety Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, and knowledge about safety and health matters in the organization.
• Coordinate training programs for employees and educating workers about site safety measures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and enforce preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
• Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.
• Making regular site inspections and planning safe working practices and making necessary changes

Requirements

• First degree in relevant field with 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role
• HSE certification will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office Packages
• Good communication Skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to enforce safety procedures and protocols
• Knowledge of first-aid techniques
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
