Sales & Operations Lead (FMCG) Job in Lagos

We are a new, fast-growing consumer FMCG company preparing to launch a range of oral care and personal hygiene products into the Nigerian market. Our initial product line includes floss picks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, and teeth whitening kits. Future phases will expand into everyday body and hair care products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Sales & Operations Lead (FMCG)

Job Description

• The Sales & Operations Lead will be responsible for driving market entry and early-stage growth.
• This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring strong FMCG sales experience, distributor management skills, and practical knowledge of Nigeria’s trade channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and revenue growth across key FMCG channels
• Activate and manage distributors, wholesalers, and off-takers
• Leverage existing trade networks to accelerate market entry
• Execute field sales and trade activation activities
• Track basic sales records and stock movement
• Work closely with leadership on go-to-market execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or trade marketing within Nigeria
• Proven experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or off-takers
• Strong field sales capability and market presence
• Practical understanding of FMCG distribution in Nigeria
• Existing distributor or trade network is a strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping is an added advantage
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a startup environment

Salary
From N250,000 monthly (performance-based growth).
