Job Position: Site Engineer

Job Location: Benin, Edo

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• This role is critical to ensuring that all project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all site activities and subcontractors.
• Interpret and implement technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with project designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and generate progress reports.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Manage site resources including materials, equipment, and workforce.
• Resolve technical issues on-site promptly and effectively.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards.
• Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in site engineering or construction supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Solid understanding of Nigerian building codes and construction best practices.
