Job Description


  • We are seeking an organized and efficient Store and Inventory Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a well-organized storage facility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using specialized software and Microsoft Excel
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and prevent stockouts
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize stock levels and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized warehouse
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for efficient inventory management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes
  • Experience with various inventory control methods and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
