Job Summary

• We are looking for a dedicated Supermarket Floor Supervisor to manage daily operations on the sales floor and develop strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will lead the team, implement business strategies, and ensure the supermarket meets its sales objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the supermarket floor, ensuring a high standard of customer service and product availability.
• Supervise and train staff, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock audits to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.
• Champion initiatives to enhance the shopping experience and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement business strategies that align with overall goals.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Degree in Retail Management or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in retail or supermarket operations, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
