Job Position: Supply Chain Manager
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Plan and source material purchases
• Constant communication with field personnel on status of orders
• Identify pricing discrepancies and review best purchasing alternatives with supervisor. Use advanced negotiation skills
• Plan and Manage shipping of materials
• Generate and distribute accurate purchase orders and provide proof of delivery to AP
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Establish standard operating procedures for purchasing, monitor the overall effectiveness of procedures and revise and improve as necessary
• Create and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor and track timing of deliveries. Verify that product and quantities are correct
• Review contracts and ensure compliance between company and vendors
• Inventory Planning and Management

Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 3+ years experience working in purchasing
• Must be familiar with sourcing and vendor management
• Skilled in negotiating and networking
• Sound decision making skills
• Ability to gather and analyze data to work with figures
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration is a plus
