Van Sales Representative

Job Brief
Bonitas Foods is in need of an experienced van sales representative (VSR) to drive sales and products to channels and partners. The VSR will be responsible for driving the company's vehicle to sell products directly to customers, performing duties such as driving to various locations, taking orders, delivering goods, collecting payments, maintaining inventory, ensuring vehicle upkeep, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities
A. Sales & Distribution

• Drive the company van along designated routes to sell and distribute products directly to retailers and wholesalers.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
• Ensure adequate stock levels in trade outlets and minimize stock-outs.

B. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Gather customer feedback and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and promotions.

C. Merchandising & Brand Visibility

• Ensure proper display and visibility of Waye’s Bee Co. products in retail outlets.
• Implement in-store promotions and ensure Point of Sale (POS) materials are placed correctly.
• Monitor product freshness and retrieve near-expiry or damaged stock.

D. Operations & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, cash, and stock movement.
• Conduct basic van checks (fuel, maintenance, cleanliness) and ensure compliance with road safety standards.
• Submit daily/weekly sales and route reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/NCE.
• At least 2 years’ experience in van sales, FMCG distribution, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic numerical and record-keeping ability.
• Knowledge of assigned territory and existing customer base is an advantage.
