Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are in need of an accountant that will be responsible for preparing, examining and analyzing financial records.
• A person that can provide the insights into financial performance, assist with tax preparation, payee & Vat and also pay attention to details, analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles that are essential to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Calculate tax, filing returns and advising on tax- saving strategies.
• Interpret financial data to support business decisions.
• Monitor the cash inflows and outflows to ensure Liquidity.
• Process salaries deductions and benefits.
• Work with multiple clients on auditing tax and consulting.
• Support Internal and external audits.

Requirements

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience with 3 years or more experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Accounting software.
• Must have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven.
• Ability to work Independently.

Salary
N350,000 / month
