Haulage and Logistics Nigeria Limited, a Haulage and Logistics company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accounts Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Head of Account

Job Summary

• We are looking for an Account Officer with an eye for detail and clean work background to facilitate the tracking of Bank credit facilities within our Accounting Team

Key Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

• Evaluate letter of credit and disbursement of funds for the credit facility
• Follow up with credit activation after issuance and balance review
• Evaluate debit interest, loan repayment instalments and accrued interest
• Review bank charges and commissions and their conformity with the contract
• Analyse successful bids and outstanding balances.
• Reconciliation of bank credit facilities and ensure funds are disbursed in accordance to agreed terms and conditions
• Reconcile Foreign Exchange transactions with the bank statement.
• Any other duties that will be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting / HND in Accounting or Banking & Finance
• Hands-on experience with credit activations and issuance
• At least 3 years working experience in a financial institution
• Updated knowledge of Bank products and credit facilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools specifically Excel with the basic knowledge of ERP system
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complicated financial data
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong ethical behavior and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
