George Oniomoh & Associates is an Indigenous Architectural practice based in Abuja. We have been involved in the delivery of numerous Design and Construction projects of different building types over the past two decades.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Architect
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• We are looking to hire an Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented and a good team player in addition to the requirements listed below.

Responsibilities

• Production of Conceptual designs.
• Production of Detailed designs and Working drawings (Ensuring compliance with Building codes and Planning regulations).
• Compilation of Project specifications.
• Liaising with allied construction professionals (Structural Engineers, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers etc).
• Making periodic site visits for inspection
• Production of Reports and general project communications. (Monthly progress reports, Architect's instructions, Requests for payments, Minutes of meetings etc)

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent drafting, 3D visualization, and Presentation skills. You must be familiar with Industry standard tools such as Revit Architecture, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, etc or other equivalent software.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills. Proficiency in word processing and reporting software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint etc)

Working Hours:

• Typical: Mondays to Fridays (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Site Supervision: If you are assigned to an active Construction project, you may be required to work Mondays to Saturdays (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
• Crunch: You may be required to work beyond the official hours to meet deadlines.
