We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Assistant Manager, HSE

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Manager in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and recommend improvements.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the Food & Beverages industry.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops effectively.
• Proficient in risk assessment techniques and hazard identification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
