Job Position: Brand Marketing Manager

Who We're Looking For

• MAKA is hiring a creative & entrepreneurial brand marketing manager who will drive MAKA’s brand vision through campaigns and across social media channels.

What you’ll do

• You will own growing the MAKA brand
• You will develop and run brand campaigns, develop data-driven promotional strategies and execute them to grow LTV and sales.
• Own how MAKA engages both customers and creators
• Lead key partnership to grow user base
• Design engaging & high-fidelity graphics for our social media pages to help grow our social media channels
• Run/host events, and manage the creator community.
• Report and track campaign effectiveness across all social media channels.

Who you are

• You are entrepreneurial: you have an ownership mentality, a drive to act and a strong work ethic
• You have 5+ years of experience in marketing across community management, social media and/or campaign management
• You have deep understanding of how to create engaging campaigns that ultimately drive eCommerce revenue
• You understand social media landscape and tools well
• You are scrappy and flexible enough to work in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity and limited guidance
• Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
• You bring a high level of creativity, attention-to-detail, and time management skills
• You are excited about fashion and/or ecommerce, and the idea of creating the future of shopping in Africa.
