Job Position: Credit Officer

Job Summary

• As the credit officer, you will responsible for identifying credit-worthy clients, promoting loan products, assessing credit applications, and ensuring prompt disbursement while maintaining portfolio quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage overdue accounts across various customer portfolios.
• Collaborate with the legal team for escalated recovery actions, including litigation or repossession where necessary.
• Contact clients via phone, email, or in-person visits to follow up on outstanding debts.
• Negotiations and rescheduling of outstanding facilities with delinquent customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit sales, micro-lending, or financial services is mandatory.
• Proven experience in debt recovery, collections, or credit control.

Salary
NGN150,000- NGN200,000 / month.
