We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Financial Officer - FMCG (NYSC)

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • As a Financial Officer, you will be an integral part of our finance team during your Youth Service.
  • You will assist in various financial tasks, gaining hands-on experience in financial management and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Assist in the documentation and filing of financial transactions.

Budget Assistance:

  • Support the finance team in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Help analyze budget variances and provide input for adjustments.

Expense Management:

  • Process and record company expenses.
  • Assist in verifying and reconciling employee expense reports.

Banking Transactions:

  • Facilitate routine banking transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Generate basic financial reports.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements for internal use.

Compliance Support:

  • Learn and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits.

Collaborative Projects:

  • Collaborate with team members on finance-related projects.
  • Provide support in various financial initiatives.

Professional Development:

  • Actively engage in training opportunities provided.
  • Stay informed about financial industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Currently serving as a Youth Corp member in Nigeria.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
