Buymore is a retail/supermarket with four branches (GRA Ikeja, Abule Egba, Isheri, & Ibafo).

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Shop Floor Attendant

Job Locations: Ikeja - Lagos and Opic Isheri - Ogun

Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Facilitate the Buymore Brand in ensuring that all customers are welcomed and that they receive the best possible service by:
• Greeting customers and ascertaining what each customer wants or needs.
• Providing a proper level of service to customers and potential customers
• Facilitating sales to customers in compliance with all company policies and conditions
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services

Floor Management:

• Organizing the shop floor and ensuring all merchandize are well displayed on the shelves
• Ensure racks are fully stocked at all times.
• Ensure all products on display are tagged with current prices
• Daily clean shelves, merchandize and tables.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Operational Execution:

• Ensure compliance with all operating standards, policies, and procedures, which include:
• Ensuring the safekeeping and protection of all company assets (owned or rented)
• Replenishing sold items from the stock room
• Inform procurement departments of products on demand by customers
• Notify Inventory department about products expiring date
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.

2.) Cashier

Job Locations: Ikeja - Lagos and Opic Isheri - Ogun

Responsibilities

• Uses the cash desk, Till and back-office systems of the shop in strict compliance with Buymore’s procedures, which include:
  • Processing all sales transactions
  • Capturing customer details for any loyalty schemes
  • Processing all sales return transactions (approved by the Supervisor or the General Supervisor)
  • Checking the availability of stock of products for customer requests.

Customer Service:

• Ensuring that all customers are welcomed and that they receive the best possible service at all times.
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Respond to customers’ questions and direct to the Supervisor on duty if you are unable to provide a satisfactory response.

Execution of policies and Procedures:

• Executes all operating standards, policies, and procedures of the organization

Other Responsibilities:

• Ensure your work area is always tidy and presentable
• Champions the Buymore Brand and Values
• Champions the Standard Operating Procedure of Buymore
• Reconciliation of the previous day's transactions with the account
• Cashing out at the appropriate time according to Buymore’s policy.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or an OND qualification.

3.) IT Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The IT Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, network, and technical support services.
• The role ensures optimal system performance, data security, business continuity, and efficient use of technology resources across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Monitor and maintain network systems (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity across branches.
• Oversee server management, system backups, and recovery processes.
• Maintain CCTV systems and access control systems (where applicable).

Technical Support:

• Provide first-level technical support to staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
• Maintain an IT helpdesk log for tracking issues and resolutions.
• Ensure timely resolution of user complaints.

Data Security & Compliance:

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures.
• Ensure regular system updates and antivirus protection.
• Manage user access controls and password policies.
• Safeguard company data and ensure confidentiality.

IT Policy & Governance:

• Enforce IT and Acceptable Use Policies.
• Monitor internet usage and prevent unauthorized access.
• Recommend improvements to IT policies and procedures.

Vendor & Asset Management:

• Liaise with internet service providers and IT vendors.
• Maintain IT asset register (laptops, desktops, routers, etc.).
• Monitor software licenses and subscriptions.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement of IT equipment.

Business Continuity:

• Perform regular system backups.
• Develop disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure minimal downtime in case of system failure.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 3 years of experience.
