Honda Motor Company Limited is an Automobile company in Nigeria. It was founded in July 1979 in the South-West Region as a sister company to a Japanese company to assist in the business of automobile production and distribution, power products and spare parts distribution.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Automobile Assembly Technician

Job Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Install engines, transmissions, wiring, and more.
  • Follow safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team and provide feedback.
  • Inspect and test components for defects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 7 years of work experience.
  • Mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle & motorcycle systems.
  • Adherence to safety practices.
  • Proficient in computer programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Physical agility for standing, lifting, and bending.
  • Applicant must be residing in Kano metropolis.

2.) Automobile Factory Operator

Job Location: Arije Campbell, Kano
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • On jig assembly of a motorcycle.
  • Interpretation of PDS.
  • Sub-assembly of motorcycle parts
  • Carry out basic equipment and facility maintenance of the warehouse equipment just like the other 3 associates.
  • He/She should also be needed to carry out daily 3s of the warehouse and maintain the factory layout settings.
  • Motorcycle testing, Final inspection, Sampling inspection, Torque confirmation
  • Unpacking of CKD, Sharing of small parts and arrangement of carts
  • Prepare daily reports and all SKDP activities.
  • He would carry out pre-delivery inspections on the bikes before shipment to dealers and ensure that the motorcycles are of top quality before shipment.

Requirements

  • OND / NCE / Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (Minimum of 2 years) in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
  • Proficiency in using with Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

3.) Account Supervisor

Job Location: Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As an Account Supervisor for the Accounts Department in our manufacturing company, you will manage all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • You'll oversee daily accounting operations, inventory and cost accounting, and prepare financial statements. You'll assist in budgeting and forecasting, comply with accounting standards, and work with external auditors.
  • Your role will include financial analysis for strategic decisions, enhancing accounting systems. A strong understanding of cost accounting, analytical abilities, and collaborative skills are essential.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to our manufacturing and sales activities in the ERP/SAGE general ledger daily.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory and cost accounting, understanding the financial impact of production processes and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing inputs based on manufacturing cost trends and sales projections.
  • Monitor and analyze budgetary control reports, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the production and sales departments to gather financial data and ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting
  • Comply with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, implementing changes as required.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making with data-driven financial analysis and insights.

Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related disclipline.
  • A professional certification such as ICAN or equivalent ismandatory.
  • Proven experience (5 years minimum) in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of cost accounting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems. Experience with SAGE or any ERP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of NYSC – Discharge or Exemption Certificate required.
  • The applicant must be residingin Ogun / Lagos State.
