We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Production Manager

Job Summary


  • Cross Beverage Nigeria Limited is seeking a proactive and experienced Production and Operations Manager to lead the company’s production and operational activities.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure efficient plant performance, effective resource utilization, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • This role requires strong leadership in managing production schedules, overseeing maintenance, monitoring quality control, and ensuring the smooth coordination of supply chain and logistics operations
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving productivity, reducing operational costs, and achieving sustainable growth in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management:

  • Oversee daily factory operations and ensure consistent production output to meet demand targets.
  • Plan and manage production schedules, monitor raw material usage, and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Supervise the maintenance and performance of production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards in line with NAFDAC and SON regulations.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety, and environmental compliance across all production units.
  • Supervise and motivate factory staff, ensuring discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Report quality results, incidents, or deviations to the Quality Supervisor or Factory Manager.

Planning, Resource & Cost Management:

  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly production and operations plans aligned with business goals.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Control operational costs through effective resource utilization and waste reduction strategies.
  • Forecast manpower, materials, and machinery requirements to meet production targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational KPIs to measure efficiency, quality, and output.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous process improvement.

Team Leadership & Reporting:

  • Lead, train, and mentor production and operations teams to improve productivity and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify staff training needs.
  • Prepare and submit detailed production, operations, and cost analysis reports to management.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in production and production management (preferably in beverage or FMCG
  • Understanding of quality standards (e.g., NAFDAC regulations).
  • Basic lab skills and ability to operate testing equipment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and in production environments.

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.

2.) Pet Blowing Machine Operator 

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Line Manager
Department: Production

Job Summary

  • Cross Beverage Nigeria Limited is recruiting a highly experienced PET Blowing Machine Operator to strengthen our production team.
  • This role is for a hands-on operator who can independently run PET blowing machines at high speed, maintain machine stability, and handle first-level maintenance without supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently start, operate, and shut down PET blowing machines.
  • Set and adjust heating zones, blowing pressure, and cycle speed based on bottle size and production requirements.
  • Maintain consistent, high-speed bottle production throughout the shift.
  • Inspect PET bottles for defects such as thin walls, weak bases, burn marks, and deformation.
  • Identify root causes of defects and correct machine settings immediately.
  • Prevent defective bottles from entering the filling and packaging line.
  • Carry out first-level machine maintenance, including mould alignment, heater cleaning, and clearing air or cooling lines.
  • Record daily production output, rejects, and downtime accurately.
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor to meet production targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven hands-on experience operating PET blowing machines.
  • Must have independently operated PET blowing machines for full production shifts (not as an assistant).
  • Strong understanding of PET preform behavior, heating control, air pressure balance, and mould performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common machine faults without waiting for a technician.
  • Experience in water, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing is required.
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts, including overtime when required.

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.

3.) Machine Operator / Technician 

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to support our production operations by ensuring that all equipment, machines, and utilities are running efficiently.
  • The Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring minimal downtime across the pure water and table water production lines.
  • The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Machine & Equipment Maintenance:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machines (blowing machine, sachet machine, RO system, UV system, pumps, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults promptly.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify early signs of malfunction
  • Ensure smooth machine operation during production hours.
  • Respond immediately to machine breakdowns to reduce downtime.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment to maintain quality and production standards.
  • Ensure all machines operate within safety and regulatory standards.
  • Comply with company SOPs, GMP, and factory hygiene policies.
  • Report hazards, unsafe practices, and malfunctioning equipment.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, breakdowns, and parts used.
  • Track inventory of spare parts and notify management when replacements are needed.
  • Submit daily and weekly maintenance reports.
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Machine Operators, and Quality Control team.
  • Provide technical guidance to machine operators when necessary.
  • Support new equipment installations and testing.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • SSCE/  OND or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technician in a water factory, beverage company, FMCG plant, or industrial production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with sachet machines, blowing machines, pumps, RO systems, and other industrial equipment.
  • Basic understanding of machinery operations and minor maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
