1.) Junior Project Manager

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties


  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
  • Team Management: Build and lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Communication and Coordination: Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including school administration, faculty, staff, and external vendors. Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor project risks and take appropriate actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and track expenditures. Ensure optimal utilization of resources and identify cost-saving opportunities where possible.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards for project deliverables and monitor adherence to those standards. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests. Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders and manage their expectations. Seek feedback, address concerns, and ensure their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Management: Assess the impact of changes to project scope, timelines, or resources. Implement change management processes to minimize disruption and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify lessons learned from completed projects and implement process improvements for future projects. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into project management approaches.

Qualifications

2.) Communications and Marketing Manager

  • Stella Maris Schools is seeking a Communications & Marketing Manager to lead our communications strategy, digital presence, and brand storytelling across all platforms.

About the Role

  • The Communications & Marketing Manager will oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging, brand growth, and strong engagement with parents, students, alumni, and the public.
  • You’ll work closely with the Executive Director, Heads of Schools, and the Admissions Teamto design and implement campaigns that reflect the excellence, values, and culture of Stella Maris Schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a unified communications and marketing strategy across all school campuses.
  • Manage and grow the school’s online presence across social media, website, and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with design and admissions teams to create compelling campaigns that drive enrolment.
  • Lead brand consistency initiativesfrom visuals to toneacross all communication channels.
  • Write, edit, and approve content for newsletters, press releases, and digital media.
  • Oversee photography, video, and storytelling initiatives that showcase student life and achievements.
  • Track engagement metrics and report performance to leadership.
  • Support event marketing, community engagement, and alumni relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in communications, digital marketing, or brand management.
  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong knowledge of social media management tools and analytics.
  • Proven ability to plan campaigns and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in an educational or fast-paced organization is an added advantage.

3.) Part Time Teacher (Coding and AI)

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time

Description

  • Subject teachers play a crucial role in the educational process by specializing in a specific academic subject and guiding students through a comprehensive understanding of that discipline.
  • They are responsible for planning, executing, and assessing lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall academic development of students.

Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning and Development:

  • Develop detailed and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Create engaging and innovative teaching materials, incorporating various instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles.

Classroom Instruction:

  • Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, making the subject matter accessible and relevant to students.
  • Utilize effective teaching methodologies, technology, and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Prepare and submit question banks on the scheduled date.
  • Design and administer assessments to measure students' understanding of the subject.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, identifying areas of improvement and recognizing achievements.

Student Engagement and Support:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Provide additional support to students who require assistance, addressing individual learning needs.

Collaboration and Professional Development:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches and contribute to the overall school curriculum.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about educational trends, advancements, and best practices within the subject area.

Communication:

  • Maintain open and effective communication with the principal, vice principal- academics, students, and colleagues regarding students' progress, behavior, and academic achievements..

Classroom Management:

  • Establish and enforce a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioral issues and maintain a respectful atmosphere.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback, and actively participate in self-evaluation to enhance professional growth.
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and collaborate with peers to continuously improve the overall educational experience for students.
  • Any other additional responsibility as may be assigned by the primary head and management.
