Job Position: Management Accountant

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Prepare and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly forecasts to track financial performance against projections.
• Provide recommendations based on variances between budgeted and actual figures.

Cost Analysis & Control:

• Analyze and monitor costs across various departments and construction projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial efficiency.
• Track and report project profitability and ensure adherence to budget limits.

Performance Reporting:

• Generate periodic management reports including financial KPIs, cash flow projections, and profitability analyses.
• Prepare dashboards and executive summaries for senior management review.
• Evaluate business performance using financial ratios and trend analysis.

Decision Support & Strategic Planning:

• Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions and investment opportunities.
• Participate in financial planning and long-term growth strategies.
• Support business case development for new projects, capital expenditure, and operational improvements.

Financial Systems & Internal Controls:

• Maintain financial models and ensure data accuracy in financial reporting tools.
• Review internal financial procedures and propose improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
