Tonia Medical Diagnostic Services Limited has been in business for six years now. We are one of the leading premium medical diagnostic center fully equipped with standard automated equipments in Abuja.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities 
The responsibilities of the MLS include:

• Decisions concerning sample collection and handling
• Daily instrument maintenance and quality control
• Perform tests that help physicians diagnose and treat diseases,
• Collection and interpretation of data
• Maintenance of accurate records and reporting of data
• Prepare samples for analysis, and use equipment to locate microorganisms,
• Monitor tests and procedures and analyze the chemical content of fluids,
• Match blood for transfusions, and test for drug levels in the blood.
• Knowledge of critical values

Qualifications / Experience

• BMLS with at least 2 year of post NYSC experience, must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria (MLCN), and a holder of a current practicing license from the relevant body.

Essential Qualities:

• Communication skills are necessary for consultative interaction with other members of the health care team,
• Technical service matters and patient education.
• Laboratory professionals should demonstrate ethical and moral attitudes that are necessary for maintaining the confidentiality of patient information and gaining the confidence of patients, professional associates and the community.
