Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods and desserts, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and specialty breads. You will ensure consistency in taste and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. Creativity and attention to detail are key qualities we’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Develop and test new recipes to expand the menu.
•  Ensure quality, consistency, and proper portioning of all products.
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
•  Manage ingredient inventory and report needs promptly.
•  Follow company recipes and presentation standards.

Requirements:

•  Proven experience as a pastry chef, baker, or dessert specialist.
•  Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation.
•  Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•  Excellent sense of creativity and presentation.
•  Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of SSCE certificate; culinary training or certification in pastry arts is an added advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant.
