Job Position: Technical Support Representative (Call Center)

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, and network issues
• Good knowledge of HDMI matrices. 
• Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
• Actively listen to customers to understand their issues or concerns
• Provide daily technical support services for information technology establishments
• Receive customer calls to provide step-by-step guidelines for the resolution of a technical issue
• Document and track customer issues using a ticketing system to ensure quick resolution
• Maintain the security and integrity of company database by setting access controls
• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Interview clients to gather information useful in providing recommendations and solutions to a technical problem
• Replace parts as required
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Although this area of work is open to all graduates and those with an HND or foundation degree, the following subjects may improve your chances:

  • Computer networking and hardware
  • Computer science.
• 2 - 5 years experience.
