Job Summary

• The role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
• The ideal candidate will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial reports to management on a monthly basis.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Provide timely and relevant financial data to management, including accounts receivable and payable.
• Ensure prompt deduction and remittance of statutory payments such as VAT, PAYE, and other taxes.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee payroll preparation and administration.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage the preparation of budgets, monitor financial performance, and conduct variance analysis.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Basic Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are an added advantage.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to drive business success.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / Month.
