We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our team in Asaba.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records, statements, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and support effective financial decision-making.
  • Provide financial advice to management for cost control and efficiency.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
